Approximately one out of every 20 children between the ages of 1 to 5 years has an eye problem that can permanently affect vision if left untreated. Project KidSight is a pro-active vision screening program designed to provide early identification of vision problems in children ages 1 to 5. It is a vision screening that uses a hand-held, specially designed camera to photograph the children’s eyes. The same is true today and Naper Settlement invites you to spend some of your leisure time with us, learning about trades, crafts, chores and games. During the month of July, enjoy a variety of activities based on the theme, “Work and Play,” including tradesmen sharing their craft, rope making, laundry, food preparation, butter making, games, town ball and vintage baseball.
