Wednesday, Sept. 26 – Open House -Day In the Life Of A Farmer 10 -11:30 AM This is one of our most popular fall educational programs that we offer. Included in the program is a farm class on beekeeping and farm crops & a new presentation on growing cotton. Everyone gets to feed our friendly animals, go through the mini corn maze, take a hayride that goes through the Cattail Creek, and harvest your own pumpkin to take home with you, an ear of popcorn, and a boll of cotton! The program will begin at 10 AM and is 1 ½ hours long. The cost is $7.00/child.

Educational, emotional and appropriate for all ages, Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition takes visitors on a journey through the life of Titanic. Along the way visitors will learn countless stories of heroism and humanity that pay honor to the indomitable force of the human spirit in the face of tragedy. On April 15, 1912, the RMS Titanic met an untimely end when it sank after colliding with an iceberg in the middle of the North Atlantic Ocean.

Features large-scale drawings, photographs, and actual pieces of murals from the Awatovi, Maya, and Moche cultures. From New Mexico and Guatemala to the desert cities of Peru, the murals provide a rare and unique glimpse into the past. (Ongoing)

The Muckenthaler's annual Holiday Festival features various activities, including home and gallery tours, community performances, and an arts and crafts fair. The family-friendly event also provides free art workshops for kids, a children's play area, and a special appearance by Santa Claus.

Digital technology has had a two-fold effect on traditional forms of publishing. On the one hand the printed book may be on the way to becoming an antique form; on the other, typefaces have exploded in number and style with the advent of desktop printing. This exhibit examines the expanded definition of the book while also considering the meaning carried by specific typefaces in different media. Guest curators.
