Bite Me! Mosquito Day
Saginaw County Mosquito Abatement Commission will be on hand to educate and demonstrate how mosquitoes are controlled in the Great Lakes Bay Region. Take a picture next to the giant mosquito. Check out the petrified mosquito larvae and see the world through a mosquitoes eyes!

Summer Olympics at the Mid-Michigan Children’s Museum
MMCM is celebrating the 2012 London Summer Olympics with Gallery Games designed to challenge kids and test their agility and brain-power! Water, Water Everywhere Boat Races; Farmer’s Market Sort; Tire Triathlon; Competitive Word Scramble; Design Your Own Olympic Mascot; Beach Ball Volley Ball; and other surprises!
Ice Cream Social
I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream! Listen to live music featuring Anna Kidder on the piano (from 1:00-3:00) while you enjoy an ice cream treat! Play the ice cream relay game, and create a confectionery take home craft.

Doctor Slime! – Saginaw Celebrates Summer
SAGINAW CELEBRATES SUMMER – Sponsored by Hemlock Semiconductor and SC Johnson. Doctor Slime, a scientist character with slime green hair, will excite, educate, and entertain with slime, bubbles, fog and brew, just to name a few. Each of his eye catching demos is followed up with a complete discussion of the scientific principles involved.

Celebrate Independence Day by blasting off your very own alka-seltzer rocket (weather permitting), paint the car red, white and blue, and lend your hand to our enormous hand-print American flag.
