During the month of December, Santa’s helper elf will be stationed at the Children’s Museum. If you see him, take a picture and upload it to the MMCM Face Book page, and tell us where you found him. Your name will then be placed in a drawing for a MMCM T-shirt.

Enjoy the sublime beauty of some of the world's most well-loved music for solo cello. The Cello Suites by Johan Sebastian Bach provide a unique insight into this musical master. Baroque music specialist Ken Kulosa will perform on a period instrument, providing a rare opportunity to hear this music as Bach would have enjoyed.

Back by popular demand, the Bounce House is in the House during the holiday season. For an additional $2 for 10 minutes of bounces, or a $6 wrist band for unlimited bounces, children can work out their sillies in the Jump Room Fun House. Special discount prices apply to MMCM members.

The MMCM is collaborating with the Yellow Ribbon Guard based at the Bay City Armory to send holiday cards and paper snowflakes to Michigan military personnel stationed overseas. All snowflakes and holiday cards will be placed in individual gift boxes to be delivered to the troops in time for Christmas. This is a great way for families to thank our service men and women who are away from home during the holidays. We’ll supply the materials, you supply your imagination. Donations are welcomed to help pay for postage.

For thirty years I have been working to create the perfect combination of subtle art, beauty, craft and sound that makes a collection of wood, bone and steel more than the sum of its parts.
