11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Fall is in the air! Visit the MMCM for Fall Fun activities. Make and take a pine cone bird feeder. Try your hand at apple stamping. Sort the fruits and vegetables in Aunt Sugar’s Farm. Name all the landmarks and mascots on our new giant regional map in Car Works. Practice leaf-rubbing. And enjoy all the remaining galleries.

Animals have amazing ways to defend themselves! Some simply hide or run, but others use venom and poison to survive. Learn about these dangerous--and sometimes even deadly--creatures. Class will include some experiments, examining mounted specimens, and meeting live animals. Designed for ages 8+, but all are welcome. Under 12 yrs must have an adult present. Free with Museum admission, no registration required .

The Museum is teaming up with the Sycamore Park District for an awesome series of animal classes this fall! On September 7 you can work alongside Museum staff while you learn to prepare diets, feed, and handle snakes, lizards, and more! Ages 8 and up.
