PAA School of Rock Band Camp

Grades 5 - 12 (2014 - 2015 school year) Tired of playing guitar, bass, drums or keyboard by yourself? Do you dream of singing for a band instead of just in the shower? Then join us this summer! Using your placement audition as their guide, our Rock instructors will fit you with a band that matches your skill level and teach you all you need to ROCK OUT at Friday night's concert! Tuition includes a music folder, t-shirt, daily snack and class handouts.

PAA Band and Orchestra Camp

Grades 4 - 9 (2014 - 2015 school year) PAA Band and Orchestra Camp is in its 3rd year and growing! Students will receive amazing instruction from incredible local band and orchestra instructors while having a ton of fun! Join us for a week of jam sessions, music theory, instrumental technique, ensemble rehearsal and group and individual lessons. You will perform a final concert for your family and friends at the end of the week.

Summer Acting Workshop

Grades 2 - 12 (2014-2015 school year): Calling all actors! Come one, come all and hone the skills of your craft. Our one week workshop will take you through all the basics of acting including body work, breath, mental preparation and improvisation. We will also cast, rehearse and perform one act plays. The plays will be cast on the first day of the workshop. Tuition includes class materials, t-shirt, daily snack, a pizza dinner cast party and scripts. You will need to bring a pencil, water bottle, sack lunch and comfortable clothes. A detailed schedule will be emailed to you in May.

Musical Theatre Intensive: Ensemble - Oliver!

Oliver! (Grades 2-12) Our Intensive II: Ensemble is our combined learning experience for students at any level! Every student will take classes in Dance, Music Theory, Voice and Acting in addition to learning auditioning skills, rehearsing the show and performing. Students are divided by grade for class work. Our last Friday together is a day full of cast parties, pizza, games and a dance party on the stage. This Intensive is intense and fun! Tuition includes a script, CD, a show shirt, a snack everyday and the cast party.

Keyboards for Tots

Is your 4 or 5 year old showing an interest in music? Do you want to encourage your kiddo to explore an instrument? Keyboards for Tots I & II is a curriculum driven class that is a perfect start! Your son or daughter will continue learning the basics of playing piano, engage musical concepts and begin reading music notes. Class time also includes other music developmental activities that engage your child. Our final class includes a recital and each student is presented a graduation certificate.

East Valley Children's Theatre Home Schooled Class - Fairy Tale Performances

CLASS 38 – 2:00 - 3:00 pm – Fairy Tale Performances for kids age 5-8, Katie Olsen, Instructor. Introduction to performing on stage, utilizing Fairy Tales as the basis for the class curriculum, culminating in a presentation on the final day of class. $75 per participant or $135 Sibling Discount for two kids.

Cap O Rushes

Cap O Rushes world premiere of EVCT's winning entry in its annual playwriting contest. Based on an English fairytale by Joseph Jacobs, Sabine the youngest of three daughters is forced to leave home alone after her father feels she does not love him at all. With the help of some magical creatures Sabine lives in the woods disguised as a bush, a cap ‘o rushes. She longs for company and after traveling comes upon the home of a wealthy family. Hungry and tired she works in the kitchen for food and shelter.
