Animals have amazing ways to defend themselves! Some simply hide or run, but others use venom and poison to survive. Learn about these dangerous--and sometimes even deadly--creatures. Class will include some experiments, examining mounted specimens, and meeting live animals. Designed for ages 8+, but all are welcome. Under 12 yrs must have an adult present. Free with Museum admission, no registration required .

The Museum is teaming up with the Sycamore Park District for an awesome series of animal classes this fall! On September 7 you can work alongside Museum staff while you learn to prepare diets, feed, and handle snakes, lizards, and more! Ages 8 and up. Space is limited; registration required through the Sycamore Park District.

Ballet Magnificat! company dancers have the privilege of using their individual gifts and talents to share the gospel of Jesus Christ both on and off stage. Ballet Magnificat! offers short workshops while on tour, giving the opportunity for dancers worldwide to participate in an abbreviated version of one of their ministry's highlights, their Summer Dance Intensive.  Classes are taught by members of the Ballet Magnificat!
