Young Performers Camp: Goldie and the Bears

A junior performing arts camp (half-day, 9am to 11:30am, Mon-Fri, July 12-16) for ages 4-6, featuring instruction in drama, voice, and choreography. The camp will culminate in a fully-staged performance of the mini-musical Goldie and the Bears (based on the story of Goldilocks). Excellent introduction into the arts! Music Theatre Camp: Wonderland!

A music theatre camp (full day, 9am to 5pm, Mon-Fri, July 12-16) for grades 1-12. The camp includes instruction in voice, acting and choreography, culminating in a fully-staged performance of WONDERLAND (based on Alice in Wonderland) on Saturday, July 17 at 2pm and 7pm. Auditions will be held in June for casting purposes, but everyone will be in the performance. Scripts and CDS available at registration. The Jolly Mon Auditions May 1, 2010 Audition for the Lynn Meadows Discovery Center WINGS summer musical The Jolly Mon, a Caribbean musical fantasy based on the copyrighted book and song by Jimmy Buffet. The show is full of fun, great music and adventure, an enchanted guitar and a magic dolphin. Auditions are open to children and youth 6 and up. May 1 from 10 AM – 1 PM and May 3, 6- 8 PM at the Discovery Center! Musicians, singers, dancers and actors are all welcome. Performances are July 14 -18. Please come with a prepared song. A CD player will be available!

Summer Interpreters Boot Camp

The Summer Interpreters’ Boot Camp is designed for high school students that enjoy and want to learn more about history. The camp allows the students to participate in multiple hands-on activities. They will learn self-reliance working with others as they pursue pioneer skills. They will also learn basic interpretation skills, which is a process used in many museums and parks.
