Discover "Georgia Through Time & Art" with Carolyn Pruitt and Kathy Wood. Drawing on the museum exhibits and artifacts for inspiration, students will create their own pottery and portfolios of quilt designs, botanicals, and pictures in watercolors, chalk, charcoal, and pencil. The camp will conclude with a Gallery Show of student art work. 1 more session remains the following week, June 13-17, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The $125 fee includes a family membership to the Museum that is worth $40. Ages 7-12.

The African American Golf Exhibition

The African American Golf Exhibition marries African American culture and the sport of golf. This exhibition, through memorabilia and artwork, will celebrate and recognize the feat of revolutionary African American caddies in the world of golf such as Master Caddie Freddie Bennett and golfers such as Jim Dent and Lee Elder among others, who sought to overcome prejudices while inspiring hope. The artwork of local golf artist Samuel Barnes will also be on exhibition. Opening Reception is Monday, April 4 at 6:00 PM. Admission is as follows: Adults $5, Seniors/Military $3, and children $2.
