Colonel's Company 9th-12th Grade Summer Camp

Become immersed in history and the heritage of Missouri. This day camp is for high school students who want to experience history in a new way. Students will participate in hands-on activities that will teach them skills and trades such as blacksmithing, muzzeloading, open fire cooking, and more. They will be introduced to the field of interpretation, which is a communication process widely used in parks and historical sites. Graduates of the Colonel’s Company Day Camp will be eligible to apply for a scholarship. Two scholarships are granted each year.

EARLY AMERICAN SUMMER DAYS

This week-long program takes children ages 7-12 on an exciting journey into New England's bygone days when they dress in old-fashioned clothing and experience fun, challenging and unique 19th century hands-on activities, games and craft projects. Activities include working in a blacksmith's shop, candle making, basket weaving, herbal lore, cheese and butter making, music and dance, and lessons in a one-room schoolhouse. Two one-week sessions are offered: August 1-5 and August 8-12, from 9:30am to 3:30pm. No early drop-off or late pickup.

Skyscraper Lego Land
