EARLY AMERICAN SUMMER DAYS

This week-long program takes children ages 7-12 on an exciting journey into New England's bygone days when they dress in old-fashioned clothing and experience fun, challenging and unique 19th century hands-on activities, games and craft projects. Activities include working in a blacksmith's shop, candle making, basket weaving, herbal lore, cheese and butter making, music and dance, and lessons in a one-room schoolhouse. Two one-week sessions are offered: August 1-5 and August 8-12, from 9:30am to 3:30pm. No early drop-off or late pickup.

Skyscraper Lego Land

Capital Camps: "Measures in Time"

Each day while visiting the museum galleries, campers will explore the history of Georgia through Native American rhythms and sounds and through the songs of the frontier settlers, the Old South, and the Civil War era. Russell and Jenna Watkins will lead campers on a musical advewnture of historical proportions! Musical presentation on Friday, July 15. 2 sessions: 9:00-12:00 for ages 6-8 and 1:00-4:00 for ages 9-12. $125 fee includes a $40 Family Membership to the Museum!
