Thursday, Sept. 25 Open House – Day In The Life Of A Farmer 10 – 11:30 A.M All schools are closed so we would like to invite you to spend a day at the farm! We will be offering one of our most popular fall educational programs. Included in the program is a farm class on beekeeping and farm crops! Everyone gets to feed our friendly animals, go through the mini corn maze, take a hayride that goes through the Cattail Creek, and harvest your own pumpkin, and an ear of popcorn to take home with you! The program will begin at 10 AM and is 1 ½ hours long. The cost is $7.50/child.

DigiPen’s Continuing Education Program is offering an opportunity for parents who are thinking about homeschooling to attend a 3 day workshop that will cover a multitude of different topics. These topics include: Getting Started, Framework, Demystifying, Budget, Curriculum, Organization and Resources.

Summer - Hot! Hot! Hot! Drummin' Steppin' & Art classes Age Range: 8 to 15 years Description: Make your summer sizzle in an artisitic way. Lead by our awesome new teacher, Derrick Freeman, your student will explore for this exciting week : visual arts through many mediums, the dance form- steppin' and the music of drumming. This rhythmic experience will be a blast for this age group led by this experienced and fun educator. Before/After care available for additional cost week long camp starts 8/4/2014 at 9am.

Explore this indoor discovery room and enjoy hands-on exhibits on natural history, sustainability and the local environment. No registration required. $2 per person

Frog Frenzy Saturday, August 23 – 1:00-3:00pm Join us for a fun afternoon at the ponds and streams! Learn about some of our frog friends as we gently catch and release these hopping amphibians. Wear boots and plan on getting a little wet and muddy. $5 per person
