Volunteer Day – Pike County Day of Caring Saturday, September 13 – 9:00am-4:00pm “Be the change you wish to see in the world.” - Gandhi This is the perfect day to become involved with our volunteer program. All ages are welcome. Snacks will be provided.

Introduction to Canoeing Sunday, September 7 – 10:00am-12:00pm $5 Enjoy one of the last days of summer with a canoe paddle across our pond! Beginners are welcome – we teach you everything you need to know. Dress appropriately – you may get wet. Call to reserve your spot in a canoe.

Ecozone Discovery Room! Saturday, September 6 – 1:00-4:00pm $2 per person Climb into a bald eagle’s nest, crawl into a bat cave, and dig in a fossil pit! Explore this indoor discovery room and enjoy hands-on exhibits on natural history, sustainability and the local environment. No registration required.

Family Fishing Saturday, September 6 – 10:00am-12:00pm $10 child / $5 adult Learn the basics of fishing and then try your luck on our ponds. We provide the equipment. No fishing licenses required. Spaces limited. Call to reserve your spot.
