Comics Comics involve a unique combination of storytelling and artwork. There are many established forms, such as Marvel and anime, as well a growing underground world of independent comics. The class will focus primarily on the artistic element of comics, pushing you to develop your own style. You will work on formal drawing and inking techniques in rendering perspective, the figure, and expression, and study effective ways of laying out page. You will design an original character and build a story around that character.
