Park History Tour Sunday, September 21 – 9:00am-3:00pm $10 members / $15 non-members Explore the Park to find the many scenic and historic sites within our beloved recreation area. Bring a water bottle, lunch, and a camera for great photo opportunities. Call to reserve a seat in the van. Carpooling encouraged.

Bird Photography 101 Saturday, September 20 – 2:00-4:00pm $15 Learn how to take great pictures of birds! Join Bob Shank, wildlife photographer, for an in depth look at attracting and photographing birds. Learn how to use a blind, create perches, and choose the right camera gear. Call for details.

PRO SERIES: Fall Warblers, with Dr. Terry Master Saturday, September 20 – 8:00am-12:00pm $20 Learn from the experts. Join Dr. Terry Master, Biology Professor at ESU, for an in-depth look at the migrating fall warbler species. Spaces are limited.

Fungus Among Us Sunday, September 14 – 10:00am-12:00pm $5 Search for fungus and lichen as you learn about the amazing world of decomposition and nutrient cycling.

Volunteer Day – Pike County Day of Caring Saturday, September 13 – 9:00am-4:00pm “Be the change you wish to see in the world.” - Gandhi This is the perfect day to become involved with our volunteer program. All ages are welcome. Snacks will be provided.

Introduction to Canoeing Sunday, September 7 – 10:00am-12:00pm $5 Enjoy one of the last days of summer with a canoe paddle across our pond! Beginners are welcome – we teach you everything you need to know. Dress appropriately – you may get wet. Call to reserve your spot in a canoe.
