2nd Annual Gingerbread Design Challenge – A Blueprint for Tasty Competition

Cheer on teams of local architects, designers and contractors as they compete to design and build gingerbread houses “Iron Chef” style. The Gingerbread Design Challenge encourages “tasty” competition, allowing local architects, engineers, designers and contractors the opportunity to face-off and demonstrate their skills to benefit the San Antonio Children’s Museum. Generation Gap Camp I

Bridge the gap between child and adult as together they work and play and experience the museum’s galleries like never before. Hands-on science activities are designed for children and adults to work together to complete.

Cost: $45 for child and adult combined; $40 for MMCM members (for children ages 5-10 and adults 18 and older)

Monster Bash! Halloween Celebration

It’s our first Monster Bash! Join us for lots of great Halloween activities in a safe and air-conditioned environment. Make your own eyeball slime in the Mad Scientist Lab and visit healthy kid-friendly trick or treat stations. Do the Monster Mash to the music of Leah White, 2009 Parents Choice Award for Best Children’s Artist and show off your costume in our spooktacular fashion show.

Make a Difference Day

Make a difference in another child’s life. Help the museum lend a hand to others by bringing in gently used winter clothing, disposable baby diapers or unused toiletries which we will donate to the San Antonio Children’s Shelter. While you’re visiting, make a thoughtful card to give to someone special!

FREE KIDS’ NIGHT

Kids are free between 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm $1 parking between 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm (Houston St./Mid-City garage on the corner of Navarro and College St.) Children must be accompanied by an adult. One adult may accompany up to four children.
