Celebrate our 10th Anniversary and join us for our first-ever Free Admission Day! Held in honor of our past ten years of excellence, all donations made that day will go towards our Sustainability Fund, which will ensure our future for the next 10 years to come. Homeschooled Student Stars in RAPUNZEL at Valley Youth Theatre

RAPUNZEL is a non-musical play featuring five actors who are new to the VYT main stage: Wil Arends (Dragon) – a 9th grader at Thunderbird High School, Rebecca Caswell (Witch) – a junior at Desert Vista High School, Jamin Metcalf (Prince) – a senior at Pinnacle High School, Jenson Metcalf (Husband) – a junior at Pinnacle High School, and Alena Sanderson (Wife) – a junior at Desert Mountain High School; Baily Shultz (Rapunzel) – a homeschooler, was in "Charlotte’s Web" last February and in the 2010 production of "The Hobbit". RAPUNZEL runs Feb. 8 through 24.

The Fresh Food Fairy Visits the MMCM!

Crunching Competition! Karate Chomping! Veggie Face Creations! Seasonal Fruit Tasting!....and so munch more will be happening at the MMCM when The Fresh Food Fairy visits on June 22. Her presentations encourage plenty of laughter and munching through activities like crunching carrots as loud as possible, karate chomping green beans, creating veggie faces, and sampling seasonal fruits and vegetables. The Fresh Food Fairy’s pedal-powered smoothies will be available, and kids can go for a spin on her bike-powered blender.

Calling All Scouts….Up to Age 12!

• Admission is $5.00 per person, and includes gallery play and a surprise activity

• *For an additional $5 per person, make and take a unique solar lantern and bring it back on Saturday, September 28 and join the Art and Sol parade, marching from the MMCM to the Dow Event Center

• Scouts should wear their uniform

• Please call on or before Friday, March 1, 2013 to reserve your spot. Spaces Fill Fast. We must have your reservation in advance to make sure we have enough supplies for all.

Diva Day!.....at the Mid-Michigan Children's Museum

Back by popular demand…. Get your glam on! Are you ready for tu-tu much fun? The Mid-Michigan Children’s Museum is hosting a Diva Day on Saturday, February 23, 2013. The MMCM will feature special programs between noon and 3 pm. Visit the Art Mart and create a diva wand or beaded bracelet. Choose a diva face paint design. Meet the Saginaw and Bay County Pageant Queens and Princesses and enjoy a talent show. Stylists from Shapers Hair Salon and Spa will demonstrate the latest little diva hair styles, accessories and nail art. Specialty items will be available for purchase.
