One Saturday a month Cochran Mill Nature Center presents Saturday Spotlight. Come out to beautiful Cochran Mill Nature Center and learn about a variety of topics. The programs will be presented by a different guest speaker each month. Most programs will include a PowerPoint presentation and/or field work. This Saturday our guest speaker will be Vicki Smith of A-Z Animals. She will introduce participants to the unique and wonderful bat. You will have the rare opportunity to see these bats live and up close.

Each month Cochran Mill Nature Center will feature a different environmental education topic for home schoolers to enjoy. This month learn about bats. Why they are an important part of the eco-system, myths & facts, and which species are native to Georgia are among the things you will learn.

EVCT will hold acting classes beginning Tuesday March 30 and running for six weeks through the 4th of May. Classes meet once a week for one hour. Cost of the six weeks of classes is $60. Class 18 -4:30 - Creative Drama - kids age 5-8, Class 19 - 5:30 - Drama 102 for kids age 8-12, Class 20 - 6:30 - Musical Theatre Skills II for kids age 8-14. East Valley Children's Theatre presents the original play The Goats Gruff at the Mesa Arts Center, located in Downtown Mesa. The show runs Feb 11-14, 19-21, & 26-28. EVCT offers classes for kids. Classes meet one day a week for an hour for six weeks. The cost of the six weeks of instruction is $60. All classes are held at the EVCT Rehearsal Studio, 4830 East Main Street in Mesa. Tuesday Classes include: Class 16–Acting Skills I- (Tuesday 4:30-5:30 pm) This class for youth age 10-15 will teach acting skills you will need when performing on stage.

EVCT Bravo is a musical theatre performance troupe singing and dancing to songs from Broadway Musicals. The troupe meets once a week from 5-6:30 pm on Wednesdays, beginning Wednesday January 20.
