"GROW A GARDEN"

• Children age 6 to 9 years

• 9:00 am to 3:00 pm each day

• Fee includes snack and supplies

• Bring your own lunch and beverage

• MMCM Summer Camps offer a choice of one or two days

• One day - $30 - $25 MMCM member

• Two days - $55 - $50 MMCM member

Campers will explore two days of soil, worms, seeds, compost, reading stories, fun projects, and art. Campers will take home their own plant and create a gardening journal.

Our 2010 Songwriters Showcase will take place Sunday, February 28th at 5:00 and 6:30 pm at Milkboy Coffee in Ardmore, a charming local venue that hosts professional musicians. Our creative piano, voice and guitar students debut their self-composed pieces to an enthusiastic audience. What makes this show so special? This is the only show we know of that is strictly for original student compositions – making it one of the most creative musical events anywhere.

Family Day - Gravity

Celebrate the beginning of the fall season while learning how we can overcome and cope with the force that causes falling -- gravity! Activities include sitting in an actual B-2 ejection seat and trying on a parachute. Also features storytime and aerospace demonstration stations.

Soaring High! Aerospace Camp

Students who have finished grades 6-9 will have the opportunity to experience the exciting world of flight by building and flying a variety of paper and Styrofoam gliders as they progress to a large balsa and hardwood high performance hand-launch glider. Into the Wild Blue Yonder Aerospace Camp

This beginning level aerospace camp is designed for students who have finished grades 4-6 and who have little or no background knowledge of the principles of flight. Campers will learn the basics about five different aspects of flight: airplanes, kites, hot air balloons, helicopters and rockets. Advanced registration required.
