On Saturday, December 12, 2009 from 4:00-8:00 pm, Liberty Station will be hosting Holiday Night on the Promenade, a flurry of fun activities for all ages. Stop by Liberty Station to pick up your stocking suffers, and enjoy photos with Santa, holiday carolers, bounce houses, face painters, balloon artists, and more! RMC All Ages Drum Circle Event

This will be great fun for adults and families alike, no experience necessary! Plenty of instruments will be on hand for your use or feel free to bring your own hand drums and/or small percussion instruments if you like. (Please no snares, kits, timbales, etc.) For planning purposes an RSVP is appreciated if possible, but drop-ins are always welcome! Come enjoy presentations of 6 different groups from SVSU, highlighting "Holidays In Other Lands" 1. Saudi Arabia: Al Fater, end of Ramadan Celebration 2. Saudi Arabia: Children's Day; Kenya: Madaka, Independence Day 3. Japan: Boys Day 4. Japan: Dolls Day (Girls Day) 5. China: Dragon Boat Festival 6. China: Chinese Lunar New Year Each group will give a presentation every 15 minutes beginning at 12:30 p.m., and ending at 3:15 p.m.
