Join Kelly Kleinfeldt as she teaches fun and easy dance steps for all age and skill ranges. “Just Dance” will follow at 1:00 p.m.

Sat. & Sun. May 12 -13 Mother’s Day Weekend Bring mom and grandmom Saturday or Sunday to celebrate Mother’s Day at Sharp’s at Waterford Farm! Bring a container, or purchase one of ours, and choose from our large selection of beautiful flowers or herbs and make a special Mother’s Day container. We supply the soil, fertilizer, and the mulch for your planter for free. (You just pay for whatever plants you pick out for the container.) Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the scenery of our 530 acre farm.

Friday, June 8th 10 – 11:30 Ponds, Puddles, & Creeks Your guide will bring you by hayride to the Cattail Creek. Make sure you wear old tennis shoes or water shoes as we go into the creek to catch a variety of the critters that live there. After catching them, we take time to identify what we have found, and learn about their habitats and life cycles. After releasing the critters we head back to the barnyard to feed the farm animals! $7.00/child Adults are free Register on or before June 7th. This year we also are offering a “Healthy Eats” option.

Thursday, June 7th 10-11:30 Wonderful World of Worms Your guide will teach the children about worms and their role in composting. What is composting, how to compost, parts of a worm, are some of the material that is talked about. Bring a baggie of food scraps as we will go through all the steps of how to make a compost pile! Everyone will pot a plant to take home! A hayride and feeding the farm animals is also included! $7.00/child Adults are free Register on or before June 6th. This year we also are offering a “Healthy Eats” option.

At 42 feet long and 12 feet tall at the hips, her skeleton inspires as much awe today as she did 67 million years ago. Created by The Field Museum, Chicago and sponsored nationally by McDonald’s Corporation. In addition to A T. rex Named Sue, the Museum of Idaho will be the first venue to debut for a new exhibit by Western Paleontological Labs, How to Raise a Dinosaur.
