Saturday, April 13, 2013, Two Sessions: 11:00 a.m. and 2 p.m. Please RSVP on or Before Wednesday, April 10, 2013. Spaces fill fast. For an additional $5 per child, make and take a unique solar lantern and bring it back on Saturday, September 28, 2013, and join the Art and Sol parade, marching from the MMCM to the Dow Event Center. Please plan on 1 adult per 5 children to chaperone during this craft session. *NOTE: If you plan on participating in the Solar Lantern Craft, each child must bring an empty, clean, clear, colorless, unwrinkled 2 liter plastic soda bottle.

Wednesday AND/OR Thursday, April 3 AND/OR 4, 2013, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. One Day - $30/child or $25/MMCM members; Two Days - $55/child or $50/MMCM members Children who attend Spring Break camp at the MMCM will be the first campers to design and craft a solar lantern. Other activities include cooking, gallery play, Bounce House Fun, crafts, outside games, and much more. Each day will offer different activities. Campers must bring their own lunch and beverage. The MMCM will provide 2 snacks each day – Campers must be registered on or before Friday, March 29, 2013. Space is limited.
