Visiting teaching artists will bring the depth and breadth of their talents to share with young people. Each day will include a different type of experience in the morning, such as visual art, story illustration, farm and garden, Japanese art form Oshibana, or peace studies. Ancient Civilizations Are Alive and Well! Friday, 31 May 2013 at the Blackstone Memorial Library in Branford, CT CT Experiential Learning Center (CELC) students create a "living museum" presentation and display.
 Students bring forth their learning in an interactive way, with each becoming a persona within a mini-environment designed to represent the civilization. As if you are traveling back in time, visit Persia, Indus Valley, the Celts, Mesopotamia, the Maya, Incan Empire, and Greece.
