Bring yoga home to your students and add a whole new element into your physical education curriculum! This fun and interactive training is an immersion into the world of kid’s yoga. Deepen your understanding of yoga for kids, including; yoga poses, exploring alignment, benefits and Imagination Yoga games. Practice will include how to cultivate calm and kind behavior, increase physical activity, and promote concentration in a fun and developmentally appropriate way.

Citizen Science September. 3:30 p.m.-5:00 p.m. Drop in to a special area of the Garden each Monday to learn from local experts how kids and adults alike can help collect data about a species that will be submitted to real-world scientists. October 13-Woodland Trek: Discover “nature’s grocery store” and more, plus make your own tree medallion. October 1. Home School Days: Eco Trek. 2:00 p.m.-3:30 p.m. Ages 5 and up. Join us at the Garden the first Wednesday of each month for an exciting, hands-on learning experience! This month, gear up for an ecological adventure hike through the Garden. Your students will become actively involved in understanding the delicate balance of different local ecosystems.
