Puppetry Camp, June 29-July 3 (Ages 7-13)

Class Description 9am-12pm daily from June 29th to July 3rd Your camper (aged 7-13) will learn about puppetry while exploring various visual and performing arts games and activities. Campers will participate in three 45 minutes classes through out the morning with our teaching artists. Puppetry Puppetry is one of the oldest forms of storytelling and uniquely crosses all cultural and linguistic barriers. It has been used for thousands of years as a way to pass down ancestral lore, teach allegories, provide entertainment and add meaning to ceremonies.

This webinar is aimed at upper elementary to middle school level students and their parents, but all ages are welcome! An understanding of basic multiplication is recommended The webinar will run for 30 minutes with an optional 15 minute Q&A at the end.

Mathnasium Center Directors Amanda Delaplane and Megan Grass will be talking about Multiplication Fact Fluency vs. Rote Memorization and why it's so important to build a solid foundation for multiplication. The tips and tricks we'll share in this webinar are aimed at parents with upper elementary to middle school aged children, but are applicable to any student ready to tackle multiplication.

Is your child still using their fingers to count and do math? While finger counting can be a handy tool when students are first learning math, it becomes cumbersome and slow as they tackle harder and harder math problems. Mathnasium Center Director, Jessica Ludwig has a plethora of tips and activities to help your child learn the mental math strategies for basic addition and subtraction facts to ultimately eliminate finger counting. This webinar is designed for parents to attend with their children but parents can also attend on their own and apply the strategies learned at a later date.

Ninja Summer Camp

At Bayside's Limitless Summer Camp you'll have a blast in our 28,000 sq. ft., air-conditioned facility equipped with ninja rigs, quad steps, assorted hanging obstacles, trampolines, foam pits, bars, rings, balance obstacles and more! During NINJA CAMP, campers will learn speed, precision, strength, and agility. Campers will enjoy a fun-filled time running, jumping, landing, and rolling by utilizing ninja obstacle courses. *NINJA CAMP is offered in the Morning for a Half-Day from 9:00am - 12:30pm($165/wk).
