Beginning Flamenco: Rumba (Ages 14 and up)

Class Description One day class from 7-8pm, on July 15th. Prior registration and payment required. In this class, we will learn one of the basic rhythms that defines flamenco dance: rumba, a four-count beat that came to Spain via Cuba and originally meant "party!". We will explore arm movements and marking patterns that emulate this rhythm! No shoes or hardwood floors required. This workshop is designed for new and repeat students. Choreography will differ from past workshops. Special Notes This class will take place on Zoom.

Class Description Daily 1:30-3:30pm class from July 27th to 31st. Prior registration and payment required. Graphic design, defined simply as visual communication, is everywhere you look. This hands-on course will teach the basics of graphic design by introducing you to the design process, the fundamental principles and elements of design, and the basic graphic design program, Adobe Illustrator. You will learn, experience and create graphic design! This class will meet for 1.5 - 2 hours with one break.

Lightroom

Class Description Daily 9-11am class from July 27th to 31st. Prior registration and payment required. In this intensive online class, students will get hands-on experience with the most heavily used modules of Adobe Lightroom and will be introduced to other Lightroom modules. Students will learn how to import photos via the Library module, manage the catalog, and edit photos in the Develop module. Students will learn a defined, non-destructive process for importing, editing and enhancing photos that will serve as a practical workflow.

Digital Pattern Design

Class Description Daily class from 1:30-3:30pm from July 20th to 24th. Prior registration and payment required. In this intensive you will take simple drawings and learn how to create your very own repeat patterns digitally. Patterns can be applied to print-on-demand objects including, fabric, wallpaper, gift wrap, phone cases, just about anything! Digitally, you will create your own backgrounds and wallpaper to use around the web or to print out for your own use. This class will meet for 1.5 - 2 hours with one break.
