The Skating Club of Boston MetroWest is hosting an Open House at the New England Sports Center in Marlborough, MA. This event is open to all ages and is from 4:00 - 6:10pm. There will be free skating lessons, staff introductions, discounts on programsand skating demonstrations. Rental skates are limited and people are encouraged to bring their own. Check-n for the skating lessons is from 4:00 - 4:30pm.

Celebrate the harvest and learn about fall on the plantation! There will be presentations throughout the day about our short-staple cotton crops and the harvesting process, the art of wood chopping and fire starting, and our honeybee hives. Talk to beekeepers about the importance of honeybees on the farm! Also learn how 19th century people prepared for winter and see 19th century food preservation techniques in the kitchen and candle making in the cabin. Homeschoolers can also make corn art to keep and start their own farm weather journals.
