Attention All 2nd Grade Educators! The Mid-Michigan Children’s Museum’s (MMCM) is launching a new, exciting STEM-based initiative for 2nd graders! The 2nd Graders are 1st Class Initiative will focus on expanding the experiential learning of second-grade students in the Great Lakes Bay Region and surrounding counties by teaching the properties of air and water using two of the Museum’s galleries.

School day - Open Playtime for toddlers and home school children. Kids admission is $8.00 for the entire 5 hours, parents are free and can jump, bounce and slide with the kids.

Jump-N-Art offers an amazing drop off camp program for children ages 5-10 years old! Special curriculum has been developed that includes theme based lessons using different mediums like painting on canvas, drawing with oil and chalk pastels, and building with clay! We've also developed an amazing physical program with jumping, games, music and activities.

Moms, treat yourselves to some "ME" time! Bring the kids and let our trained staff entertain and supervise them. This is a Drop Off Event! $25 per child, $20 for siblings. Dinner & snack included! We will be jumping, sliding, and fun games. Kids will be treated to pizza and juice box for dinner. Ages 4 and up are welcome. (Children must be potty trained.) Whether it’s for a reward, end-of-year celebration or educational experience, Six Flags Over Georgia provides the perfect adventure for your students. The park will be open to home schoolers only on May 8th, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. as Six Flags Over Georgia becomes an outdoor classroom while still running all of our fantastic rides.

Join us for a fun filled art making event to celebrate your Mom! Studio will be open from 11am-5pm. Children ages 4-18 can come in a make Mom a special painting and a custom card for $40.

Bioblitz! August 28 – 29 – 7:00pm-7:00pm Free Join us for a survey of the plants and animals located within the Park. We’ll be sending out teams of experts and volunteers to find and identify as many species as possible. Additional acitivities will also be offered at PEEC. Pre-registration required. Ecozone Discovery Room! Sunday, August 23 – 1:00-4:00pm $2 per person Climb into a bald eagle’s nest, crawl into a bat cave, and dig in a fossil pit! Explore this indoor discovery room and enjoy hands-on exhibits on natural history, sustainability and the local environment. No registration required.

Summer Canoe Paddle Saturday, August 22 – 10:00am-12:00pm $5 Enjoy the summer out on the water! Paddle a canoe…and try out our new kayaks! Beginners are welcome – we teach you everything you need to know. Dress appropriately – you may get wet. Call to reserve a canoe.
