Compass Homeschool Classes

Compass Homeschool Classes offers homeschool families in northern Virginia and the DC metro area core, extracurricular, and enrichment classes to supplement the academic material taught at home. All classes are taught by qualified outside instructors in Herndon, VA in a 4-quarter, 30 week academic year. Compass families also enjoy a warm, welcoming community with special activities, events, and academic clubs/contests in addition to regularly scheduled classes.

Fredericksburg Area Speech and Debate

Homeschool Naturalist and Outdoor Explorers

The Home School Naturalist Program uses nature observation, awareness and earth based skills to introduce your child to a world of adventure,discovery and learning! This program focuses on cultivating the existing passions found in children, their natural curiosity and their innate love of nature. We then add layers of hands-on experience in naturalist and wilderness skills including; tree & plant ID, natural fibers, sensory awareness, emergency fire building, lost proofing, wild food gathering and preparation, animal tracking & ID, practical wilderness skills & more.

Trinity of Woodbridge Homeschool Co-op

Trinity’s homeschool co-op is a small, family-run co-op that meets twice a month September through May at our church in Woodbridge, VA. Past classes have included art, creative writing, book club, cooking class, and social studies. No religious courses or Bible studies are offered, but classes are taught from a biblical worldview by parents who are members of Trinity. Classes are offered for children in Kindergarten-12th grade (ages 5-18). Parents do not need to teach classes, but are expected to stay the entire time to assist.
