Helping Hands Pre-Writing Class

Each 60-minute class is designed to help prepare children for success in preschool and kindergarten using a developmentally friendly approach from the Get Set for School TM Program. School readiness concepts such as social skills, color/shape awareness, counting, language skills and fine and gross motor control will be enhanced as children partcipate in fun and engaging hands-on multisensory activites. Writing readiness concepts will be taught such as correct crayon grip and use of the helping/stabilization hand.

The Lorenzo Cultural Center’s upcoming series, And Still They Prospered: Living Through the Great Depression, takes a look at the inspiring stories that carried people through one of the country’s darkest decades. The program series runs from Feb.
