Reading and Relaxing with the Goats is perfect for kids who struggle with reading and/or anxiety. This is a judgement free, loving environment, where kids can just enjoy themselves surrounded by lovable goats. We have books or you can bring your own. Kids and Teens will read to the goats, then spend time in a relaxing, mindfulness exercise while cuddling with the goats. Coins. Stamps. Currency. These are magical things to both collectors and non-collectors. They are art in miniature. They provide a window to another place. They can tell us about past. At this Discovery Day we will help visitors, both young and old, explore the magic and fun that this hobby can provide. The International Society of Worldwide Stamp Collectors will have stamps and information on stamp collecting for visitors to take home and will be able to answer questions you might have about your stamps. Volunteers from the Smithsonian National Postal Museum and the Washington, D.C.
