During this special evening event, the play arena will be reserved for families affected by autism. Kids and parents have a great time meeting new friends and playing in a safe and controlled atmosphere. Sensory Jump night will be held on the 2nd Monday of every month. $7+tax/child and Parent's are always FREE.

Parents Night Out

Do you need a date night, or just some quiet time at home? Drop the kids off with us! We will jump on the inflatables and play in the arena. We will have pizza and drinks, then create and play games while our food settles. We finish off the evening with a GLOW party and dancing, or if the younger ones are sleepy they can watch a movie. When you pick them up, they will be tired, fed and ready for bed! Space is limited, so reserve your spot today! Ages Potty-trained to 12! We have this event the 4th Friday of every month.

Santa's Workshops

SANTA'S WORKSHOPS provide three hours when students can create three separate gifts to give for Christmas this year. Art Teachers will guide students to use new techniques to make objects such as decorations, paintings, ornaments, etc. Students will cut, paint, glue, arrange, imagine and GET EXCITED as they prepare to GIVE. All of these vast supplies are included in the fee.

Kids' Canvas Class

This is a fun canvas painting class designed to allow students to learn the techniques of acrylic painting on canvas. Each class will focus on a variety of subjects suitable for young minds - frogs, cats, castles, flowers, sports, owls and the list goes on and on. Students will work on an 11 x 14 canvas each class.

Secondary Homeschool Art Class

This art class is designed for students 14 to 17 years of age and will be teaching the Principles and Elements of Art in a project based art environment. Projects may consist of the following media: pencil, ink, charcoal, pastels, markers, paint and mixed-media. A success oriented lesson plan will be based on individual students' skills and interests.

Kids' Art Workshop

The Kids' Art Workshop is held usually on the first Saturday of the month, except September because of Labor Day. Students come and work with three Master Degree'd Art Teachers to create three separate projects during the three hours of the workshop. Students will paint on canvas, produce a mixed media project and create kid friendly clay projects. Students will return in two weeks to paint their clay projects on a Sunday afternoon, 1:00-2:00 pm. Seasonal art is sometimes used as a theme.

Homeschool Art Class

This art class is designed for ages 9-13 yrs. Even though we follow the Missouri Guidelines for Art Education, our goal is to create exciting but enriching projects that keep students interested. A firm foundations of the elements and principles of art are taught in each project. We will enjoy such projects as clay, painting, printmaking, weaving, mixed media, fibers and some seasonal projects. The more experience students have in a non-threatening environment such as our art studio, the more confidence they will acquire as they tackle other experiences in life.

Homeschool Art Class

This art class is for ages 5-8 yrs. We will experience many media and art concepts during the year in our friendly studio. Students will learn basic skills such as drawing, cutting with scissors, painting, mixed media, and clay while expressing their own response to fun topics and themes. Learning to listen to a teacher and to follow basic directions is an added plus. We encourage personal expression while learning to develop basic art skills. This is a well-rounded class that sets young students on a firm foundation of art development.

The Museum of Idaho is located in Idaho Falls and is a perfect stop on the way to Yellowstone National Park, Craters of the Moon National Monument, and Jackson Hole and Teton National Park (only 1.5 away from those destinations).
