Alternative Mother's Day Celebration

Sunday, May 14th Alternative Mother’s Day 3P.M. to 5 P.M. – Join us down on the farm for Mother’s Day. Bring a favorite container or you can purchase one of ours and make an herb or flower container with up to 10 plugs! We’ll top it with cocoa bark mulch and a Happy Mother’s Day tag. The plugs, soil, tag and cocoa bark mulch are included in the fee. Our staff will help you create a memorable planter for mom! At 4 P.M. we will head down to feed the animals and at 4:30 we will go on a hayride through the farm and across the Cattail Creek!

Sensory Jump Open Play

During this special Open Play, the arena will be reserved for families affected by Autism. Meet new friends and enjoy a safe environment for the kids! Admission is $5+tax per child. Parents are always free and don't forget your socks!! A signed waiver is required to play.

Mardi Gras/Fat Tuesday Open Play!

We will be celebrating Fat Tuesday during Open Play! In typical Mardi Gras tradition, we will throw everyone beads halfway through Open Play and switch to a Glow party. Everyone will receive a Feathered Mask when they leave. February 28th 10am-12pm OR 3pm-6pm Admission is $10.00+tax per child. No coupons or discounts will be applied. Parents are always free and don't forget your socks!

Engineering Day

Fluor Idaho, in conjunction with the Museum of Idaho and National Engineering Week, will hold an Engineering Day for area students on Saturday, Feb. 25, from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Activities will take place at the Museum of Idaho. Grades K- 6 will be meeting in the Education Center, grades 7- 12 will be meeting in the museum. Students from grades Kindergarten to 6th will have the chance to understand the engineering that goes into designing catapults, with contests for most accurate shot.

Online Java Classes

Beginning of Java Programming Online for homeschoolers from 12:30 PM -1:30 PM. Every week we will have 1 hr class followed by an assignment of the topic covered in the class. Classes are conducted through web-conferencing in a small batch of 4:1 or 1:1 as desired. DESCRIPTION Learn the basic concepts, tools, and functions that you will need to build fully functional programs with the popular programming language, Java. Build a strong foundation in Java and object-oriented programming.

Beginning of Python Programming Online for homeschoolers from 11:30 AM -12:30 PM. Every week we will have 1 hr class followed by an assignment of the topic covered in the class. Classes are conducted through web-conferencing in a small batch of 4:1 or 1:1 as desired. DESCRIPTION Python is a widely used high-level, general-purpose, interpreted, dynamic programming language. Its design philosophy emphasizes code readability, and its syntax allows programmers to express concepts in fewer lines of code than would be possible in languages such as C++ or Java.

School’s out for a Snow Day, but don't think it will Snow? Bring the kids in for a fun-filled time to jump, slide and play and have an INDOOR SNOW BALL FIGHT! Monday, February 20th 10am-12pm OR 1pm-6pm Admission is $5.00+tax per child. Parents are free! Socks and a signed waiver are required to play.
