Does your kid want to hack websites so that they can be cool? We will be running a workshop to teach kids basic hacking techniques. We will not teach anything that will get them in trouble, but we will teach what a website looks like under the hood, how websites and servers talk to each other, and basic programming skills using JavaScript. The workshop will be very hands-on with coding exercises and challenges. Grades 5-12.
Is your kid curious how electronic devices work under the hood? We will be running a workshop to teach kids basic electronics programming. Kids will learn how to hook up LEDs, dials, buttons, motors, sensors, etc on a circuit board and program them using C++ and Arduino. We provide a SparkFun Inventor's Kit and a laptop for every kid during the workshop. Grades 5-12.
The final project is a simple piano, or a project of the student's choice.
