EXPLORE FLORIDA'S WONDERS: Crystal River Excursion - Manatee Swim!

Join us on an adventure to the Gulf Coast! Learn about the endangered Florida manatee and experience an "up close and personal" meeting with the Sea Cows. Snorkeling Swim provided by Bird's Underwater Dive Center. Wetsuits, mask, and snorkels required, and equipment rentals available. Manatee Swim will be followed by a visit to the Crystal River Archaeological State Park where we will have a private tour and see Native American sites over 2,000 years old. Ages 10-14 years.

Science Saturday presents Life, in all its weird and wonderful forms! Learn about all the organisms that make our world unique. Science Saturday is held on the first Saturday of each month, from 10 am - 1 pm, and features hands-on activities and demonstrations for elementary school kids through adults, highlighting a different realm of science each month. Science Saturday activities are always free!
