Michael O’Brien loves the water. More specifically, the salt water- the ocean. Surfing for 35 years, O’Brien has surfed from California to New Jersey and the entire East Coast, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic, Barbados and St. Barths, The Mexican Pipeline, and of course, the north shore of Oahu. His work is an expression of 20 years with a camera in the impact zone.

Internationally recognized artist and skateboarding legend, Ed Templeton creates works that juxtapose his street photography in quasi-narrative groupings.

The Art and Culture Center of Hollywood’s camps bring out the artist and performer in your child with visual, performing, and interdisciplinary programs, each of which allows children and youth to practice the skills they learn by preparing for final exhibitions and performances.

New-York-based contemporary artist Ryan Humphrey incorporates BMX bikes in dynamic 2- and 3-dimensional works. Fast Forward features a large-scale, floor-to-ceiling installation in which BMX bikes are attached to the gallery walls. The installation includes a massive wrap-around rug, a collection of bike-inspired paintings and mixed-media pieces, and three interpretations of Marcel Duchamp’s Bicycle Wheel (1913) set against BMX bike ramps. An interactive activity area is also a part of the exhibition.

Ryan Humphrey and special guest Dizz Hicks will be having a BMX trick riding demo. There will be a Q&A session and screenings of BMX films. They will also be constructing a Hoffman Bicycle, the "Loyalty" model (a $1000 value), and then raffling it off in a free drawing.

Starting with the pinball machine, journey through time to discover how electronic games have evolved, from the development of the first computer games and rise and fall of the arcade, to the advanced game consoles of today.
