Finger Lakes Homeschool
Welcome to Finger Lakes Homeschool (FLH), a chapter of Homeschool NY. Homeschool NY is a state-wide network of support groups, serving home school families from around the state. We are an inter-denominational Christian organization, promoting home education and supporting parents who choose to homeschool. We believe every family has the legal and constitutional right to home educate in NYS, regardless of their educational philosophy or religious affiliation.
Home School Academy LEAH
At the Home School Academy, our primary goal is to support home schooling families by offering classes in areas that are challenging to accomplish at home. As such, we strive to:
Evermore Homeschooling
We are a small, non-sectarian, faith-based homeschooling group in Columbia County, NY. We gather once a week for enrichment and group-based activities, and do the core of our homeschooling at home -- we all have different approaches.
Our interests at co-op include social skills, literature, science projects, handiwork, fine art, history, critical thinking and more. Each block of four to six weeks has new topics to explore, centered around a particular theme such as Astronomy, Legends, Winter, and Vive La France.
Transformative Learning Community
TLC is community. Through our weekly classroom gatherings, study halls, moms night outs, & field trips, TLC offers homeschool families a safe, joyful place to find a support network of similarly-minded parents & students with whom they can share joys, struggles, ideas, & resources. Our community promotes healthy friendships & teamwork through teaching & modeling kindness, sharing, encouragement, & leadership. Homeschooling can be lonely, so TLC seeks to walk alongside families on their journeys.
