CHEW is for Christian home educators in White County, Arkansas. This is the place for posting upcoming meetings, field trips, classes offered, books for sale or wanted, prayer requests and anything related to home education in White County.

Benefits: Monthly newspaper is available at a cost of $18 but is not a requirement. A member directory is available for $3. Homeschool packets are available at the Searcy Public Library for any homeschooler.

BELIEVERS
BELIEVERS (Building Each Life In Everlasting Values Eternally Relying (upon our)Savior) is a support group for western central Arkansas as well as eastern Oklahoma. Membership consists of approx. 80 families with children of all ages (from newborn to seniors in high school) We are governed by an Executive Council composed of 7 couples. The Council has quarterly business meetings in which all activities are planned or discussed. The success of these activities hinges on member participation.
Requirements: Must attend a one time orientation meeting. To join must sign a Christian statement of faith.
Benefits: Monthly newsletter, Planned field trips, Coop classes, Fall dads' and lads' campout, Dads' winter retreat, RENEW (a monthly support group meeting for moms), Nationally known outside speaker brought in once a year, Special days such as science fair, history fair, spelling bee etc.
Valley of the Sun Homeschool Cooperative
The Valley of the Sun Homeschool Cooperative is a secular, inclusive group of homeschooling families who come together for the purpose of enriching our children’s educations. Our parent-teachers lead classes that are based on their skills, interests, and backgrounds, providing our children with unique opportunities for learning and growth. Fundamental to our beliefs is the notion that our homeschooling community benefits from, and is enriched by, the diversity of our membership, and we seek to create a welcoming atmosphere for all who wish to attend.
Requirements: Our organization is a cooperative, and we depend on the active involvement of all members to make our classes and other activities possible. All members are expected to volunteer their time to keep the cooperative running smoothly. Parents must remain on campus with their children (no drop-offs).

Hualapai Hills Home Schoolers
Hualapai Hills Home Schoolers is a Christian-based, non-denominational (open to all faiths), support group of home education parents desiring to draw creative ideas from each other to stimulate greater learning in their children. Monthly meetings will help you gain new teaching tools and ideas to keep your child's education on the right track. We meet on the 2nd Monday of each month from 7:00-8:30 p.m. Members participate by holding an office or planning an activity (i.e. literary club, chess club, Lego league, service club, field trips, sports club, spelling bee, geography bee, science fair, playgroup, science workshops, etc.)

Home Educators of Yuma - H.E.Y.
H.E.Y. is the largest support group in Yuma County. We are a Christian support group. We get together regularly (Sept-May) for fellowship, fun and educational opportunities. We have Park Days twice a month which begin with a meeting at 10am. After the meeting we break for Physical Activity Classes ($30 per child, per year, ages 6-18) and then conclude our day with a bring your own lunch. There are many other opportunities throughout the year to participate in extracurricular and educational activities.
