The Beijing Guitar Duo, Meng Su and Yameng Wang, first met at the Central Conservatory in Beijing, where they both studied with the acclaimed professor Chen Zhi. The duo was formally established at the encouragement of Manuel Barrueco, their teacher and mentor, while pursuing their advanced studies at the Peabody Conservatory. “Sense of Place” A walk with ecologist and native plant expert Jenny Evans from SCCF. Jenny runs the native plant nursery at SCCF on Sanibel and will open our eyes to the wonderful world that is SWFL through native plants, natural systems and wildlife. You’re not in Kansas anymore! Living With Wildlife, presented by Dee Century from SCCF Learning to live in harmony with SW Florida’s unique insects, birds, mammals and other wildlife is easy when you understand, know and respect them. Guided Trail Hike with Brenda Thomas There is so much to learn about the REAL Florida, a place very different from the rest of the country where most of us are from. Bring the kids!
