These workshops are a great way to get creative with your child. Each workshop will allow your child, with your assistance, to create their very own ceramic artwork. Take one, or take them all! Because the projects need to be glazed and fired, artwork will be available for pick up 2–3 weeks after the workshop. - January - Candle Holders You will create beautiful candle holders using slabs of clay and cut-outs and paint it with colored clay.

In each workshop, parents and their little ones will explore fiber and textile crafts they can do together. Enjoy this tactile learning experience and gain new skills in the areas of nature painting, wet felting, ornament-making and other interesting textile-related crafts. Children and parents may work on the same project or parents may work on a more advanced fiber-related project while their little ones explore a simpler version of the same craft. Instructions for both will be shared during class each week. There is $5 supply fee per class due to the instructor. Take one or take them all!

Home school students can explore the world's largest aviation museum and learn about aviation history and STEM topics during Home School STEM Day on Oct. 2 at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force. During this event, home school children, ages 5-18, can participate in a number of free educational activities, many focusing on science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) themes.

Thursday, November 9th 1 -3 P.M. Open House -Pilgrim History & Hayride we cordially invite all families, and homeschoolers, to join us for “Pilgrim History”. This is one of our most popular November educational programs that we offer. History comes to life as all of our tour guides for this program are in costume. Children will learn about the Pilgrims home life, the chores Pilgrim children were responsible for, the games Pilgrim children played, and also about the Pilgrim’s relationship to Native Americans. The program concludes with a hayride that goes through the Cattail Creek.
