Saturday, November 3 & Sunday, November 4 12pm & 3 P.M. Give Thanks! Support the Howard County Food Bank by bringing out canned goods and in exchange you’ll hop aboard for a narrated, scenic hayride around our farm and through the Cattail Creek. Hayrides given at Noon and again at 3 P.M. only! Our last weekend open for the season so stop in and pick up cider and apples!

Saturday, October 27 & Sunday, October 28 Dog Days at Sharp Farm - Time to celebrate our faithful pups! Bring your dogs and have a fun day on the farm! Tiki’s Playhouse will be here giving away treats and bandanas for your furry friends! Give your dogs a fun day out! Leashes required for all pets and please plan to clean up after your pets when nature calls! Free hayrides to pick your own pumpkins, corn maze, scarecrow making, facepainting, country store and more. Open 10 A.M. to 5 P.M.

1pm-3pm Pumpkin Painting Class Get your messiest clothes on and join us for a full pumpkin experience! We will begin with a hayride around the farm, ending at the pumpkin patch where everyone will pick their own sugar pumpkin to paint. We will end up back in the barnyard for special instruction and all supplies needed for the official painting! $10.00/person Free hayrides to pick your own pumpkins, scarecrow making, face painting, country store, farm animals and more! Open 10 A.M. to 5 P.M.

Saturday, October 20 12pm-4pm First Responder Appreciation Day Join us in learning more about the men and women helping serve our community. We will have a police car and fire engine at the farm to offer safety advice and special gifts for the kids! We will be offering all first responders 20% off their pumpkins all day. Dress up as a police man or fireman and get $2.00 off a pumpkin! Open 10 A.M. to 5 P.M. free hayrides to pick your own pumpkins; farm animals, scarecrow making, face painting, country store!

Friday, October 19th from 1 – 3 PM – Day In The Life Of A Farmer  Barn class about honey bees and their work to produce honey  Feed the chickens, goats and cows  Hayride thru the Cattail Creek  Harvest your own sugar pumpkin to take home  Harvest an ear of popcorn to take home  Entrance to mini corn maze Cost: - $8.00/child Adults are free, (no pumpkin or popcorn) Recommended for ages – 2 and up Registration required on or before Oct. 18th  Add on Large Maze for $1.00

Saturday, October 13 & Sunday, October 14 Superhero Day Dress up as your favorite super hero, throw on a cape and get $2.00 off a pumpkin! 11am-12pm Sharp Farms Kid’s Hour Come join us for a special free hour of kid’s time! This will include story time with author of the “Rollaway Pumpkin”, Chrisi Homan, a Montgomery County teacher and author! Then enjoy a special sing-a-long with music teacher Gino Hannah and a special appearance by our own superhero, Molly the Bubble Girl! Corn Maze, farm animals, scarecrow making and country store! Wednesday, October 10th from 10:30 – 12 PM Mini Day - Calling all mini-farmers to come join us for a fun day on the farm. Wear your work clothes as you will be: • feeding the chickens • feeding the goats and cows • brush the donkey’s • Hop aboard the hay wagon for a fun hayride around our farm • then go out to the field to harvest your own pumpkin • go to another field to harvest an ear of popcorn to take home. • After all your work enjoy going thru the mini corn maze!

Sunday, October 7 12pm-5pm Waredaca Brewery will be here highlighting their locally brewed beer using fresh herbs grown at Sharp Farm. Free hayrides to pick your own pumpkins! Spend some time going through our 6-acre educational “Give Bees a Chance” themed corn maze! 1pm-3pm Pumpkin Painting Class Get on your messiest clothes and join us for a full pumpkin experience! Saturday, October 6 10:30 Iron Bridge Hounds & Horses come to visit at 11AM. A spectacular sight of horses, riders, hunt master, & lots of happy hound’s ride to our farm! 11:30-12:30 Donkey Day! Come out and meet the newest animals. We will be holding a special introduction where kids can learn all about donkeys, help us get them cleaned up and ready for the Fall season! $2.00/child includes the class, time to brush and decorate our furry new friends!
