HERO is a homeschool group based in Irmo providing supportive activities and resources designed to benefit all home educators in the greater Columbia area regardless of religious preference, political affiliation, ethnic background, family structure, or educational philosophy. This discrimination-free society allows the development of a nurturing family of homeschoolers who can build lifelong relationships through learning together. Our Vision is to be a source of innovative resources and timely support to those who share our passion for educating our children at home. We provide co-op classes, field trips, and special events Monday-Friday. Summer camps are available as well.

This is a faith-based co-op that meets on Thursdays and offers parent-led classes for PreK - grade 12. Classes include academic courses and enrichments.

ENRICHri is the largest secular homeschooling organization in Rhode Island, supporting hundreds of families in Rhode Island, Connecticut, and Massachusetts as an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We are a welcoming, inclusive group that offers advocacy, field trips, classes, parent run co-ops, community events, and support to the homeschooling community. Myerstown Enrichment Center (MEC) is a Christian homeschool support group that was founded in 1995. We meet each Tuesday from September to May, except for listed holidays. Our eight-member volunteer board coordinates and administers MEC activities. Our mission is to provide educational resources and support for homeschool families. MEC offers traditional parent/member-taught educational classes from first through twelfth grades. Nursery through kindergarten is primarily a babysitting/enrichment service designed to free mothers to help with older students. Our purpose is to work cooperatively in order to teach our children, while offering extra opportunities to help develop student leadership, provide incentives, and showcase student's individual achievements. We also seek to offer assistance to families as they comply with the PA Homeschool Law and to be a source of support to families through educational, personal, and prayer support.
