Our goal is to provide an inclusive co-op where homeschooling families can come together to learn, grow, share ideas, and support each other in a positive group learning environment. We meet at the Ralph Wilson Youth Center in Temple- a beautiful, newly-built facility with amenities such as a covered patio, a big outdoor playground, spacious classrooms, and a fantastic gym.

We are a Christian home school co-op that meets weekly at First Baptist Church in Silsbee beginning August 2019. Weekly core classes offered will be history, literature/writing, and science. We also offer an array of electives such as art, computer, drama, culinary, P.E., and choir.

The SHINE Co-op Ministry has offered mainly enrichment focused classes for Kinder through 12 grade. Preschool support has been offered for participating families with older students.

We provide support to Texas homeschool families in the Richardson, McKinney, Plano, Allen, Dallas and DFW area.

Lighthouse offers an array of homeschool resources. At the home in Port Arthur, TX, there is a homeschool co-op, Christian Home School Enrichment Labs, an athletic group, Lighthouse Home School Athletics, for high school sports, testing, field trips, events and a homeschool library and bookstore as well. Getting involved is easy. Membership is $40/year and families participate in as many or as few offerings as they like. It's all about supporting the choice to homeschool and making it a joyful, viable choice!
