H.E.R.I.'s purpose: H.E.R.I. is a non-profit corporation organized for educational purposes to assist home educators and to promote the welfare of children in home, school and community. H.E.R.I. does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion or national or ethnic origin. We are volunteer organization that operates under Christian principles and we reserve the right to pray before, during, and after any and all activities/meetings, in the name of Jesus Christ the Only Unique Son of Jehovah, God.
Requirements: We encourage our members to participate in any of the volunteer opportunities that we host throughout the year at a minimum of 2 hr/year.
Benefits: H.E.R.I. membership includes bi-monthly newsletter. We discount group testing for our members, a used book sale, discounted admission to our curriculum convention, presentation night, and discounted rates to various graduation activities. We also have a lending library our members can check out curriculum for the school year.
Families Instructing Students At Home (FISH)

Community Christian Homeschoolers (CCH)
Homeschool support group for Alachua and surrounding counties since 1986.
Requirements: Form & fee required
Benefits: Fellowship, support and encouragement for parents; park days, field trips and other activities for children
CHEACC (Christian Home Educators Association of Collier County)
he purpose of CHEACC is to provide support and encouragement to local, Christian home school families. The organization was established upon basic Christian values and principles. Individual members are encouraged to reflect those principles during CHEACC functions and activities. At CHEACC, you’ll find a diversified group of home schooling families. Some members adhere to strict curriculum planning, while others follow learning through unit studies. There are also members enrolled in on-line courses of study and local co-ops. We encourage this diversity at CHEACC. We believe it is the responsibility of each family to decide their own home school philosophy and establish their own programs. CHEACC simply serves as a vehicle for support, encouragement, and information so our members can homeschool more effectively.
Requirements: Go to www.cheacc.org, and click on "Request Membership". Enter the necessary fields (including checking the box that you have read and agree to our Terms of Service).

CHEA - Christian Home Educators Association, Inc.
CHEA is a support group in Ocala offering academic, social, and service activities in a family oriented, Christian atmosphere. We have park days, field trips, clubs, and informational resources, as well as providing encouragement and fellowship to each other as we share our homeschool journeys.
Requirements: Enrollments are done online at our website. We require a signed Statement of Faith and Code of Conduct as part of the membership application.

Broward County Homeschool Parent Support Group
The largest and oldest homeschool support group in Broward County. Founded upon Christian values and Christian led - but all homeschoolers welcome! Meetings 2nd Tuesday of every month. Children welcome at meetings - separate room for Elementary kids, Middle Schooler and High Schoolers - where they make friends and have fun. "Chat Room" for adults to socialize. Homeschool speaker at every meeting.
