Trinity of Woodbridge Homeschool Co-op

Trinity’s homeschool co-op is a small, family-run co-op that meets twice a month September through May at our church in Woodbridge, VA. Past classes have included art, creative writing, book club, cooking class, and social studies. No religious courses or Bible studies are offered, but classes are taught from a biblical worldview by parents who are members of Trinity. Classes are offered for children in Kindergarten-12th grade (ages 5-18). Parents do not need to teach classes, but are expected to stay the entire time to assist. Membership is open to any homeschool family in the Woodbridge area looking for a small, Christian co-op to join.

Naked Apple Tribe

Naked Apple exists to encourage, support, and build up the local community of homeschool families, reaching out in the name of Jesus Christ. The co-op brings together homeschooling families to support each other in their calling of teaching their children. Every family has a different reason and vision behind the choice to homeschool, and Naked Apple cultivates a community that encourages and supports families in achieving their vision. Naked Apple provides a wholesome educational experience in small group settings working in a cooperative manner, with parents filling many different roles within the co-op. Naked Apple parents support each other inside and outside the co-op, helping instill a lifetime love of learning in each other’s children. No one understands children like their family, and the family’s unwavering support and encouragement are what gives them the confidence to face the world. But even the strongest of families needs a supportive Tribe of caring individuals behind them.

New Harvest Christian Co-op

New Harvest is a parent-led co-op that focuses on providing academic and enrichment classes with a biblical world view. We are a community of homeschoolers providing encouragement and support to one another in Hampton Roads. Together, we stand shoulder to shoulder on the journey to prepare our students for academic success in a modern world. New Harvest provides three core classes, literature, history, and science, for grades K-12. High schoolers enjoy an even broader range of required courses available to those seeking a higher education. Finally, we add enrichment classes for all grade levels. The more families and cooperation we have, the more enrichment we can provide! At New Harvest, we strive to provide challenging academic classes using tools such as group discussion, projects, team-building, media and experiments. We desire to see our students thrive and grow into the young men and women God has called them to be.
