Two Separate Sessions: 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
Plan a visit to the MMCM on March 26 to find out the importance of wearing a bicycle helmet. You’ll see a “rules of the road” bike safety video, be able to touch models of the brain, discuss why it’s important to protect the brain and what the brain does, get instruction on how to wear a helmet properly, and see the famous “watermelon drop demo.”
Parents can bring their child’s helmet in and we will check it for proper fit. Helmets will also be available for purchase at $7 in sizes to fit all ages, including toddlers, kids, teens and adults. Kids must be a year or older to get a helmet. Each session will last 30-60 minutes depending on the number of kids/families attending.
