Class Description Daily class from 9am-12:30pm from July 13th to 17th. Prior registration and payment required. A mosaic is a picture or pattern produced by arranging together small colored pieces of hard material such as glass, stone or ceramic. In this class, you will learn basic mosaic design techniques and create an original mosaic. Materials will be provided but students may bring their own found objects such as broken pottery, glass, beads, mirrors and stones to incorporate in their projects. This class will meet for 1.5 - 2 hours with one break. The instructor will be available for additional feedback during the day over email. Special Notes Please have a pencil, eraser and colored pencils or markers available for your participant. All other supplies will be provided in a supply kit available for curbside pick up from the Durham Arts Council the week before the class. Kits are yours to keep to continue working once the class completes. This class will be taught on Zoom. A link will be sent a few days before the class start date. http://www.durhamarts.org/classes.html
