Every second Friday of the month during the fall and spring, the CLC offers a 3-hour hands-on STEAM program for students in home school. Join us for a fun-filled morning, learning new skills and discovering new interests! Friday, December 13, 2019: Tis the Season K-2: Brrr! In celebration of the winter solstice, make snow, create a winter tree craft with your handprint, make a diorama of the four seasons and more. 3-4: It’s a winter wonderland! Learn about the seasons, craft a snowy tree with bubble wrap, see a planetarium show about the seasons and more. 5-8: Let it snow! Learn about the winter solstice, create bookmarks with laminated plant materials, make a snowstorm in a jar, design a model of the seasons and more. PROGRAM INFORMATION Program sessions are held on the second Friday of each month from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm. If you have a Home School Group of at least 16, additional dates and times may be available. Contact the sales coordinator for more information. Parents are permitted, but not required to attend with child. All parents and authorized individuals must present photo identification when picking up your child(ren) and be listed as an authorized individual on the registration form. COST The cost is $15 per student per program ($10 for siblings) for registrations received before 12:00 p.m. the day before the program. The cost is $20 per student per program ($15 for siblings) for registration received after 12:00 p.m. the day before the program. CLC family membership holders receive a 10% discount on individual programs. Home School Days Annual Subscriptions are available for a discounted cost of $120 per student and include all programs (no additional discounts apply to the annual subscription). Cost includes all materials and a popcorn snack. CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS No refunds will be offered for Home School Days programs. For cancellations received at least 48 hours prior to any program, your registration fee may be applied to future Home School Days programs. PRE-REGISTRATION The registration form must be completed and submitted before 12:00 p.m. the day before the program to receive the discount ($15 ($10 for siblings) or $120 for Annual Subscription). Registration is complete and confirmed on receipt of completed registration form and full payment. Programs are limited in size; therefore, registrations will be processed on a first-come, first serve basis. Registration after 12:00 p.m. the day before the program or at the door is accepted, if space permits, and costs $20 per student per program ($15 for siblings).
