Class Description Daily class from July 20th to 24th, 9-10am Your camper will take a journey across the globe during Cultural Camp. This camp is design specifically for 5-6 year olds. They will learn about the country of Burundi while exploring the visual arts through crafts, painting and stories. Fashionable Finland Because of its history and geographic location Finland’s culture has been influenced by adjacent areas, various Finnic and Baltic peoples, as well as the former dominant powers of Sweden and Russia. There is an ideal in Finland of self-sufficiency and many Finnish people live a very rural life. Many Finns are emotionally connected to the countryside and nature, and Finnish art strongly reflects this relationship. This is relationship is also reflected in fashion which is designed with simplicity and sustainability in mind. Come explore Finland’s expansive geography home to reindeer and snowy owls. Special Notes This camp will take place on Zoom. Families will be sent a link a few days before camp begins. Each week will provide different activities.
