Fashionable Finland Because of its history and geographic location Finland’s culture has been influenced by adjacent areas, various Finnic and Baltic peoples, as well as the former dominant powers of Sweden and Russia. There is an ideal in Finland of self-sufficiency and many Finnish people live a very rural life. Many Finns are emotionally connected to the countryside and nature, and Finnish art strongly reflects this relationship. This is relationship is also reflected in fashion which is designed with simplicity and sustainability in mind. Come explore Finland’s expansive geography home to reindeer and snowy owls. Special Notes This camp will take place on Zoom. A link will be sent to families a few days before camp begins. Each week of our Fashionable Finland will have different activities.
