Spring has arrived! On April 24, 2010, The Historic Daniel Boone Home will be tearing into the soil in preparation for its Annual Spring Planting. This great family event will feature multiple hands on activities where together parents and children will plant seeds, split rails, help create wooden tools used for farming, measure acreage, and much more. Visitors will learn the importance of agriculture and how it was used for cooking, clothing, tools, and even medicine. The event will begin at 9am and end at 5pm. Admission prices are $7 for adults, $6 for seniors (age 55 and up), and $4 for children (between age 4 and 11.) Family rates begin at $25 and include two adults and up to five children.
